If Abs was a Spice Girl he would be Mel C(Sporty Spice), coz he is well built, polite & quiet. At the audition they had a big problem; there were two Richards, and he was afraid that he or Rich would have to go, so he shortened his middle name Abidin down to Abs. Abs' mum is from Irland & his father is from Turkey, Abidin is a Turkish name. The only place that Abs can call home is the place were his mum lives. So in the house that he lives with the other band members, he has everything in boxes, he just takes the stuff out when he needs it. Abs is laid back but strong headed. Sometimes he's completly silent & other times he won't stop talking.
