As a display of how good Myth II's graphics really are, here is a screenshot WITHOUT a 3d accelerator card. Note the blood sparys, and the camo satchels! |
This is the original shot of the keep, which you saw in the first batch of screenshots. Note the fire, and the moving (yes, moving) drawbridge! |
The famed Baron. He is a crafty fighter, a craftier leader, and VERY well defended (those guards of his are immune to normal archer arrows). |
This shot shows the all-new (in Myth II, at least) difference in water levels. Remembr how you were so frustrated making 3rd party maps that had to haave flat water going straight up at the map borders? No longer. Now you can make a waterfall in its place :). |
The terrain mesh for one of Bungie's maps. The red brings out variances in terrain better. |
The return of some olf favorites from the original Myth: TFL. Ghols, thrall, and zerks. The archers are still here, too, but they have been revamped to be called a returning unit. Note how the archer on the extreme left falls apart with one well aimed ghol slash. |
This shot shows nothing more than some of the best graphics ever seen. Need I say more? |
What Myth: TFL lovers got addicted to in the first place: heated battles where only one side will survive. This is merely the aftermath, so there isn't quite as many units fighting as I, for one, would like to see. |
