STANLEY PARK LIVERPOOL THU 26 NOV 1998

The last Sidewalk event of 1998 was held at Stanley Park, near the Liverpool and Everton football grounds.

The weather was not very clear, but the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn were viewed in Geoff Regan's 8 inch f6 and my 6 inch f4 reflector. Geoff also did two slide shows indoors, using the LAS slide collection.

Thanks to the Liverpool Rangers who managed the event and to LAS member Ian Gregory, who helped look after my telescope. The event was photograhed and reported by the local free weekly newspaper Merseymart (circulation 36,000).
