Daniel A. Dutko, 54, was the co-chairman of Leadership 2000,
the Democratic National Committee's main
fund-raising
effort. He held many other high-level political positions, including
vice chairman of finance for Clinton-Gore in 1995; finance chairman of the
53rd inaugural ball; and vice chairman of
finance
for the DNC in 1996 (when the Chinese money poured in). Attributed to a
bicycle accident in which it's claimed he struck his head on the concrete
twice.
