Anicius Probinus

Anicius Probinus was the son of Sextus Claudius Petronius Probus and Anicia Faltonia Proba.

With his brother, Anicius Hermogenianus Olybrius he was allowed the honor of a consulship while still a youngster in 395. When Rome fell to the Visigoths, it has been noted that he remained in Rome, but I have found little else about him.

He married a lady named Italica by whom he had at least one son, Anicius Probus and two daughters, Anicia Proba and Anicia Italica.
