The ABC'S of Salvation
A- Admit
you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned
and come short of the glory of God." --Romans 3: 23
"The wages of sin
is death, but the gift of God is eternal life."
--Romans 6: 23
B- Believe
in Jesus Christ
as Savior and Lord.
"...believe on the
Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved."
--Acts 16: 31
"For by grace are
you saved through faith ; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God."
--Ephesians 2: 8
C- Call
upon God to save you.
"For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
--Romans 10:13
If you are ready
to accept this free gift of God, pray this prayer of commitment...
Lord Jesus,
Thank You so much
for loving me and dying for me.
Lord, I commit myself
to You. Come into my life, change me, make me new, make me
whole.
Please forgive my sin and purify my heart.
Jesus, I believe
You died on the cross and rose again three days later
and one day I will live with You forever.
Meanwhile,
help me to stand for You, to shine for You,
and to make a difference in Your strength.
Help me not to be silent, but to be bold about
You and to let Your truth be known.
Use me, God.
Show me how to love and to serve You.
I love you so much.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
