=======================================
Dear Uncle Sam
Do you even know who I am?
Since you're the man in command
I guess I'm just
An unknown of the world
Only a number for a name
And when I look around
We really are all the same
I salute the system in reign
Everyone in their places
Ignorant bliss on their faces
A category for gain
The best is yet to come
Enough for all to get some
Yet we're drowning in the rain
A code calls me a resident
Don't know the life I've spent
Cus with attention they refrain
Dear Uncle Sam
Do you even know who I am?
Since you're the man in command
I guess I'm just
An unknown of the world
Only a number for a name
And when I look around
We really are all the same
The shackles are kept tight
To keep the angry from rising
And the naive from realizing
That conformity kills flight
Stop you in your tracks
Taking the shirt off your backs
Without an anthem to recite
As long as you can call me a citizen
By force of the digits on my skin
Everyone think's its all right
Dear Uncle Sam
Do you even know who I am?
Since you're the man in command
I guess I'm just
An unknown of the world
Only a number for a name
And when I look around
We really are all the same
