I've basically been friends with the same people for several years. Which is strange because we have little or nothing in common, expect the fact that we all need mental help and are outcast. =)
First there was Lindsay...
I meet Lindsay first in 5th grade through a mutual friend, Kathleen. When we first met, we really didn't like each other. She was about my height, build, and had blonde frizzy hair. At this time in my life I was not what one would call a happy person, her cheerful spirit made me sick. Still does, I just got use to it! Then next year, she was in my homeroom class and we just seemed to hit it off. We had little in common, but had a great time together, which was all we cared about! Later in High school, we played on the tennis team for 2 and 1/2 years, then I quit, for reason that will go unmentioned. We are still close friends and spend lots of time either talking or hanging out.
Then Steph came in...
I meet Stephanie in 6th grade on the bus. I was in a talkative mood one day and turned around to talk to the freak behind me. Big mistake!!! =P She is a year younger then I am, so we only went to school together when I was in 6th and 8th until she made it to high school. Even though we did not see each other every year, we still kept in touch and soon Lin, Steph and I were together a lot. Steph is a from Alaska. She participates in the school's drama club and use to be in choir, but quit because of complications between theater and choir. That's how I understood it anyhow! She's really a sweetie, when she wants to be.
Enter Joe...
I really don't remember how I met Joe. I know he was friends with either Lindsay or Steph and then we met through them. He was in my art class in 8th grade to, but I met him through one of the girls first. At first I didn't like him, then I had a crush on him, and by the end of the year he was just fun to be around. He is outgoing, loud, artistic and a great friend. Who loves to pick on me. We act like we are going out, but are not really (for those who don't know yet!).
Heather
Not everyone who has joined the "group" has stayed with it. In 8th grade, and 8th grade only, Steph was not the only young one. A girl named Heather hung out with us. I don't really remember much about her, except the fact she was a compulsive liar. She was only with us for a short time.
Lindsay drags Kate in...
Kate and Lindsay met in Math class in 9th grade. They became close friends, in fact they have lots in common. Kate started eating lunch with Joe, Lin, and I. At first Kate and I didn't have much to say to one another, but over the years we've started talking more. She is real cute. She's small like a doll, with a cheerful, but cynical attitude which I like. Kate and Lin are a perfect match!
Dustin #1
About the same time Kate join in with the group, Dustin Ka. started hanging out with us. In 10th grade, Joe and Dustin became really close friends. In 11th grade Dustin dated Kate, then Lin. After Lin and Dustin broke up at the beginning of summer he stopped hanging out with us. He's really tall, and with obsessed Star Wars.
Dustin #2
Last year, 11th grade, Joe, Lin, Dustin, Kate and I were in the same History class, (can we say problems?). In that class, we meet a strange and demented, but smart guy named Dustin Ke. He was also computer class with Lin and I. He sat between us, and we all carried on conversations throughout class. By the first of senior year, he goes with us to clubs, the movies, and out to eat. I would have never thought someone that smart would hang out with us, but I guess weirder things have happened!
That's basically the group. Others seem to be joining us in our...uhh...odd activities, but this seem to be the core. Now the soap opera comes in to play from 10th grade to now. It seems that our lack of interests finally caught up with us, and everyone was down everyone's throat. By the end of the year I was so tired and frustrated with them all, I got a job so I would have an excuse NOT to hang out with them and to meet new people. Not the best way of to handle it, but it worked. We all got a break from each other and even though we've had fights between Lin and Kate, Lin and Steph, Lin and Joe, Joe and Steph, Steph and I, Lin and Dustin, Kate and Dustin...etc, we seem to be at least able to go out with out killing anyone. *S* Things are better, for the most part! =)
Steph was the first one to get a computer hooked up to the net. So Lin and I would spend the night at her house and play on the computer until the sun came up. One night we were at the Park chat room talking to some strange guy. When he asked us what our favorite sex toys were, we looked at each other and replied "whips, hand cuffs and Key chains!!!"
Freshmen year, Joe, Lin, Kate, Dustin and I were sitting around at school eating lunch and telling jokes. A joke was told with orgasm in the punch line. (don't remember the joke) As the punch line was told everyone laughed. After she finished laughing, Lin looked up and asked, "What's an orgasm?"
In 8th grade, Joe started shaving. He came to school in the morning with little bits of tissue paper on his face. On his birthday, Lin, Steph and I pulled our money together to get him just what he needed. A shaving Ken doll!! (pictures below!)
This was the end of 8th grade. Joe is behind us. Then Steph, Lin and me in the funny glasses!
This is from 10th grade. Left to right: Joe, Lin, Dustin, me, Kate, Steph, and Leah with her bear.
Joe's Party
Lin, Steph, and Kate playing in Stpeh's clothes. These are the people your parents warned you about!
