Tuxedo Kamen(Mask) is also known as King Endymion of the Future, lover of Princess Serenity (Neo-Queen Serenity ) and father of Neo Princess Serenity (Chibi-usa) as well as Chiba Mamoru. Like Usagi, he has appeared in NEARLY every episode since Episode number one. (Minus the time Galaxia stole his star seed and when he went missing a few other times). He annoyed Usagi at first by calling her "Odango Atama" which literally translates into Dumpling head because of her odd hairstyle. (In Chinese, it is Bread/bun head) Yet over time he grows fond of her. When Usagi was first found to be Sailor Moon, he appeared as the mysterious black caped hero known as Tuxedo Kamen (Mask) who wears a black tuxedo, black hat, white mask and carries a cane with him. When he makes his grand entrance, he throws a red rose which supposedly has the power to momentarily stop a villain from attacking. It serves either as a distraction or a temporary weapon that actually wounds the bad guys. There are instances where he also uses his cane to fight like a sword. Not until up to the moment Usagi discovered that Tuxedo Kamen and Chiba Mamoru were the same person, does she realize that she is in love with him. (When she discovers that they were lovers in the past during the Silver Millenium). Usagi calls him Mamo-chan and he calls her Odango Atama or Usako as a nickname. Endymion is also the protector of the Earth. In the first half of Sailormoon R, Mamoru became Tsukikage no Knight (Moon Shadow Kight) as his actual body was just recently reincarnated after his death in the fight with Beryl and the Black Moon Family and he had lost his memory of his identity. So instead, Tsukikage no Knight (which is the essence of his soul) shows up and throws a white desert rose at the enemy instead. He is dressed in desert robes like somebody who jumped out of Arabian Nights and basically does what Tuxedo Kamen does, as a slightly different character this time to battle the cardians...Anyways, afterwards he regains his memory as his essence of his soul returns into his actual body. In the rest of SailormoonR, his relationship with Usagi gains momentum until Chibi-usa falls from the sky and his future self: King Endymion sends him a mental message to stay away from Usagi in order to protect the future. He never stops loving her although he doesn't show it. Near the end, he was discovered to be the future father of Chibi-usa and he and Usagi renew their slightly halted romance. In SailormoonS, he basically shows up with the rest of the Sailors (the Inners) to help them by throwing roses again; and to lecture Slr Uranus and Neptune on their behaviours. He doesn't play such a big role anymore by then. He doesn't even go to the final fight of Mistress9 and the Deathbusters because he had to hook up his life energy to hers to keep her alive. In SM supers, he plays a bigger role once the Outers leave the scene. Apparently this is because Queen Nepherenia has desires for him (like Beryl) and she wants everything Usagi has. He appears again in the first few episodes of Stars, being kidnapped by Nepherenia and the 10 Sailors go to rescue him. Then just before the Galaxia Arc began, Mamoru gives Usagi an engagement ring and takes a plane to America where he is planning to attend Harvard but Galaxia's golden light came and made the whole plane vanish. At the end of Stars with the final battle with Galaxia and then Chaos, the Sailors finally discover why Mamoru had stopped corresponding with Usagi and that his star seed was stolen. Usagi manages to defeat Chaos and her Mamo-chan is reunited with her again henceforth making the end of the series a happy one. Most people complained that it didn't have their wedding or any other future glimpse of Crystal Tokyo. He has no transformation sequence. In the manga, he has much more power and the ending is more dramatic but this character profile is based on the anime
