Christopher J. Johnson (1982-1997)
"In the long run we are all dead"-Keynes (Chris's favorite quote)
Christopher
-----------
Pleading they beg you to come with them
"my love" they call to you, and "love" again
Slowly your eyes close to see your dreaded fate
And with a single promise their acceptance enters in.
You fall on your knees and scream at your God
Raising angry fists into the air
And looking down, you behold your death
You feel noone loves you and you don't care.
"Be still my heart, and mend your wings,
Too much longer and you'll forget how to fly."
Bloody tears stream down your face
One more broken thought on the way to good-bye.
Loading the gun, you raise it slowly to your head
For now you'll forget who you are
You hold your own existance in the palm of your hand
A slight smile; they thought you'd come so far.....
Lying bloody, and broken on the hard, wet, ground
Your precious life seeping far from me....
Everything you worked for, forever is gone,
You've been enslaved by what you thought would set you free....
