Right, welcome to the bit where I get a bit self-absorbed. This page is strictly intended
for those incredibly curious or those
who simply have to know some more about me. Here you are..
Until I get my picture up an' running, have a look at this wee thing. People I meet
on the Web seem to think that my name is short form of Tinkerbell, so...here goes.
For your information, my name is not a short form of Peter Pan's Flying Fairy, but a
short form (a diminuitive, as it is called) of an old Danish name -- Katinka. To confuse
matters even more, my real name isn't even Katinka.
I'm a Danish lass currently
studying English (with much pleasure) and History (with considerably less pleasure)
at the University of Copenhagen. I have been at University for three years now, and
I expect to get my B.A. by summer 1999.
I like many things. That is probably
one of my vices. I like too many things and I get too absorbed. I like literature,
which everyone I know can safevouch for. I like.. films, cooking, travelling,
art, architecture, computers, laughing, music, reading (put any form of newspaper ten
feet from me and you won't see me the next 30 minutes), Britain, New Zealand, history
(just not studying history...), producing theatre....you get the picture.
Right.. to make things easier...
