Okay, so like I was saying..I was wrong..ANGEL is actually a very sound show..though it still suffers from the evident lack of romantic and passionate heat that the B/A pairing created. In any case, I was proven wrong.. But I was right too. The loss of Cordelia and Angel on BUFFY has been substantial and the show ain't what it used to be..but I won't start that rant anew.
I gotta say, I dig the Batman/Angel thing. It's kinda cool when it's hinted at but not slamming you in the face. And the Cordy/Doyle romance is cool and sweet..reminders of B/A.
In any case, this page is for stories about the ANGEL series. A note for those interested, this doesn't mean that it won't contain characters from BUFFY. In fact, this mostly means that the stories here take place during the timeline set up in the ANGEL series. So basically this is a big crossover between BUFFY and ANGEL..afterall, I am a diehard B/Aer. Always faithful, eh?
Okay..turns out that I get to be one of the first ones to say that I was wrong. And then again, I was right. I said the ANGEL show would suck and that it would do signifigant damage to the BUFFY show. Well, ANGEL is a quality show that reckons back to the glory days of BUFFY's second season. It's a wonderful mix of action, romance and drama. And the trio of Angel, Cordelia and Doyle reminds me of the original Scooby threesome of Buffy, Willow and Xander. Unfortunately we've recently lost Doyle and Wesley has entered the picture. I remain faithful that Doyle will return however.
