Road Trip!!!

So ya really wanna know about my trip? *lol* Okie, Easter Sunday evening, I headed to Denver to pick up my big bro, not i, for our road trip. First stop was St. Louis, where I visited my sister sam *lol* So we drove the full 860 miles with only one 2 hour stop to sleep a bit. We got to St. Louis at about 10:30 AM Monday morning, so we slept a bit in some ratty hotel before Timberlyn got out of school. We went to meet sam, and headed out to cruise the mall. When we got back, the air sirens were blasting from a tornado that hit about 13 miles north of where we were. We chilled out and chatted for a while, then headed back to the motel for the night. I spent the first two hours the next morning in school with sam. Keep in mind this was a high school, and I'm 24 years old. All her guests are supposed to be around her age, so we just neglected to tell them how old I really am *lol* It was lotsa fun...too bad I didn't have time to stay all day, cuz then i coulda sat and stared at Coach Flo for a complete hour! So after second hour, I went to pick up Corey at the hotel, so we could hit the road and get to Pittsburgh to meet my twin! *grins* We decided to stop and crash right outside of Pittsburgh, and took off Wednesday morning en route for Scott and Veronika! We spent all of Wednesday and Thursday in Pittsburgh...cruised the mall, hung at Pitt University, went to the lookout at Mt. Washington, and hung at the house and played games and listened to my twin sing. It was great, but not near long enough! Friday morning, we took off to West Virginia to meet Tropical-storm and NoKeys. We got there early afternoon, and after Corey and Mike completely destroyed a perfectly good birdfeeder, we took off to see the sights of Huntington and surrounding communities. It was so much fun! As morbid as it may sound, I really enjoyed cruising through the cemetaries...it was beautiful and peaceful, and really brought me down to Earth. Kimmie and Mike served us a great dinner (thanks stouffers! *lol*) and were gracious enough to let us stay the night at their place. That was a great help, seeing as though we were both on a tight budget, and motels can be very expensive! I actually got my first taste of *gulp* webtv there also! *giggles* We left fairly early again Saturday morning, and headed down to Southern VA, where I got to meet my one and only chicken! The Unknown and I had a ball, terrorizing the black dog, not to mention poor Deniese at the Outback and the lady at the Food Lion! We now all know that chickens and weasels mixed cause major chaos! I really can't wait to go back though...the area was beautiful! I also got to meet my good friend Nicefeline, whom I completely adore *smiles* We left the house around noon time, and after damned near getting run off the road by a semi, we spent 2.5 hours driving 10 miles around a 64 car pile-up on the interstate. If we woulda left earlier, we coulda been #65! Finally we made our way through the torrential showers, and got into Fredericksburg. I got to meet White Fang and Gotey. White Fang and I went out and both bowled like total shit *lol* We had very little time to chat, but it was fun, nonetheless! When we got back to hotel room, gman was able to come down and visit. I really wish we woulda had more time, cuz we coulda turned that town upside down! Next time we'll do things the right way and VA will never be the same *efg* I woulda had more pics, but SOMEBODY doesn't know how to fucking wind the film in when they're done with a roll *scowl* We left before 7 am the next morning (Monday) and headed to Tennessee to Smoky Mountain Knife works so Corey could blow some excess cash. We then headed up to Kentucky, and stayed the night at my mom's first husband's house (another free night...yay!) and took off the next day for the long trek back home.
