T31AE - October, 1982 Very interesting operation by Eric, SM0AGD. Due to joint administration, Eric could work as either T31 or KH1 from the exact same location. So, he alternated callsigns - T31 one day, KH1 the next. Put in many late-night hours chasing this one, again during my "no tower, no power" days. Finally made it around 2 A.M. local time on 40M SSB with 100 watts to an extended double Zepp strung between two tall trees. Never did work him as /KH1, though. T31JS - July, 1988 |
