VK0HI & VK0CW - Jan. - Feb., 1983 Spent many nights pounding away on 20M CW before puttin this one in the log! Had no tower, no beam, no amp. Put up a "Heard Island Special" antenna just for this DXpedition, which was a pair of phased delta loops strung between two pecan trees. It worked! Made it on SSB, too. VK0HI - December, 1987 |
