POWER SEARCH EBAY

You don’t have to be trapped by the search engine's format on eBay™. Using these helpful
tips, you can find exactly what you are looking for. Keep in mind, there are guys out there
trying to get you to pay through the nose for software to "power search" eBay™. I'm here
to tell you, you don't need any special software. eBay™ has the technology and all you
need are these simple commands.

You may search the following fields on eBay™

@DocTitle (This is the field everybody searches)
@MetaItem (The auction lot #)
@MetaLocation (ie Bakersfield, CA-of little use)
@MetaSeller (Also of little use)
@MetaCurrent Price (The current price of all items)
@MetaEndDate (The day an auction ends)
@MetaBidCount (How many bids an auction has)

You can search specific strings

Here are a few examples of how to utilize these search "restrictions".

1. To get all auctions ending on 4/25 you would type: @MetaEndDate 04/25
2. To get all auctions ending at 7:00 p.m. on any date, type:
@MetaEndTime 19:00
3. To get all auctions with NO bidders, type:
@MetaBidCount<1

If you use these restrictions with a title name, you can develop a very specific search.

Here is an example: You want to search for auctions that have the word "baby" in the title,
that end on 4/5, between the hours of 7:00 & 9:00 p.m., with 5 or more bids, that do not cost
over $100.00. This is what you would type:

"baby AND @MetaEndDate 04/05 AND @MetaEndTime>19:00 AND
@MetaEndTime<21:00 AND @MetaCurrentPrice < 100.01 AND @MetaBidCount >4"

That is a lot of typing, but it WORKS !
