OMAR EPPS plays a college student named Phil Stevens whose idea of a romantic date is watching a scary movie.

Epps made his television debut on the popular series "The Cosby Show." He recently spent a memorable season on another hit series, "ER," as Dr. Dennis Grant, a surgical resident whos life ends tragically.

Epps' feature film credits include lead roles in John Singleton's "Higher Learning," and "Juice," and supporting roles in "Major League 2" and "Daybreak." He earned critical praise for his performance in two HBO original films: "First Time Felon," and "Deadly Voyage," where he played the sole survivor of a group of men who fled Ghana aboard a Ukranian cargo ship.

A Brooklyn native, Epps has directed music videos for Heather B, Special Ed, and his own rap duo, Wolfpack.
