Timothy Olyphant as Mickey
"It's a classic case of life imitating art imitating life."

--- Mickey

TIMOTHY OLYPHANT plays Sidney Prescott's new college friend Mickey, a stongly opinionated film student who dominates class discussions and whose opinions oppose those of Randy Meeks'. Randy describes him as a "freaky Tarantino film student." They're good buds, though.

Olyphant gave a brief but memorable performance as an arrogant young director in "The First Wives' Club." He can also be seen in Danny Boyle's "A Life Less Ordinary," starring Cameron Diaz and Ewan McGregor, and in Nick Davis' "1999."

Olyphant made his acting debut in the Playwrights Horizon's production of "The Monogomist," and received the Theater World Award for Outstanding Debut Performance.

Born in Hawaii and raised in California, Olyphant swam competitively at the University of Southern California and was a US National Finalist in the 200 individual medley.
