For Janis

Well...I write this, simply to announce
the pleasure i find in watching Janis Joplin smile..
There's this film ..of Jimi Hendrix playing at the Monterey festival in '67..
And there are a few short sequences of Janis..which i've been watching over n' over again.
Such a pleasure to be looking at her
shaking her hair
n' gently smiling
