ADAIR GWILLIAM'S STORIES
These stories were written by me when I visited my grandmother and grandfather in the country.ACORN AND INDIAN Sunday, September 06, 1998 Acorn tracks acorns on the ground. Indian is Adair's grandfather, and his name is Flint Chipper. Acorn is really Acorn Tracker. We found mocker nuts before the squirrels ate them. I found four obsidian arrowheads. We, also, saw chokecherries. I saw some bee balm and one white-tailed deer. CAMPING Friday, August 21, 1998 I HEARD COYOTES AND A SAW-WHET OWL. GRANDMA GOT SCARED AND WENT INTO THE HOUSE. Adair Gwilliam 11.6.98 SNAKES The snake had no tail, and it was eating a bass. It was in the water and slithered on to shore. It went into a hole. Snakes Adair April 11, 1999 There are all kinds of snakes like: A cobra, anaconda, or garter snake, gardener snake, rat snake, rattle snake, racing snake, water moccasin, boa constrictor, boa, grass snake, blacksnake, Viper, asp, copperhead, king snake, king cobra, massagua rattler, brown snake, and others… AU TRAIN RIVER 10/15/99 The water was cold. But it didn`hurt me. It flows toLake SUPERIOR. I saw kids jumping off a (15)ft.bridge. The water pushed me down stream.The water was close to (7)feet deep. The current was atleast five miles an hour. There is sand at the bottom,but no trash or junk. It was at least three hundred feet across,but the Au Train river was six inches deep.
GOOSEBUMPS 2000 My book is called Goosebumps 2000 by R.L.Stine. The main characters are Connor, the dragon, Emily, and Kyle. Kyle is really demanding. Kyle tells people what to do.He says it once, and he yells at them. The dragon is really cool. The dragon has fire coming out of his nose. The dragon's toe nails are like rose bush thorns. Also, the dragon has brown bat wings. Emily took over the dragon's life so that everything Emily did the dragon did too. For example, when Emily stomps on the ground, the dragon stomps on a house. Conner dives down into a giant pit and ripped up the wizard card. The card game cannot ever be played again. In addition, you can read this in printing on my web page. Adair Gwilliam November 21, 1999 My books name is Mummies in the Morning. My favorite character is the cat. You ask why? Well, I will tell you. He is as fast as a speeding bullet. He is a good leader because he led Jack and Annie through a pyramid. Also, nobody can catch the black mummy cat. The best part about the book is when the (M) tree house goes to Egypt. The wind blew weak, then hard, then harder and harder and then it got blown off the tree. T o help the ghost queen to go to the other life is the reason the tree house went to Egypt.

Gage, Adair's friend from church, Adair, and myself hiked to the top of
Painter's Knob to the Indian rock. These guys were real cliff climbers and
explorers. This Saturday was a beautiful sun day about 70 degrees. We found
calamites and some iron ore. Later we walked on some old abandon railroad tracks and
collected spikes and plates. Who carved this foundling? An Indian?
Or is it an eccentric bird bath? 
Coming in from 400 feet Adair and Wayne at Nags
Head. The ride was fun, a little bumpy, but lots of fun. next year 1000 feet!
