Jadax sat on the roof of a house in yet another empty town. 
There was nowhere to go. Nothing to do. Then, for no apparent reason, his
thoughts turned to something he'd heard earlier while he was in the clan. Three things really. "In
the shadow of wisdom here it be." "High atop a mountain is the power of the
mind." "If you condescend to the power a greater power can be found." Then
something hit him. "Power of the mind equals omniscience equals wisdom
equals Stone of Goth. I can see where a mountain fits in there. Shadow of
wisdom is below that?? But Hyru has the Stone of Goth. That fool attacked me
from the north, so Hyru must be stationed north of around here. Condescend
to the Stone of Goth though? That'd seem like you'd have to be a god. Maybe
they messed up and it should be *descend *. "Unlikely though." Then he said to
himself "Shut up logic, you're ruining my hour of triumph. Or something like
that." He then flipped off the roof and started running north.
