In the year 1800 before the time of Hyru, there existed a rogue
band of thieves known as the Muertas. They had no specific base
and continually moved around, stealing whatever they could. But being
small enough and discreet not to be noticed by people or even
recognized as a clan. But with more people joining the group because
of clans getting destroyed, members leaving other clans, and towns being
destroyed, the Muertas grew larger. The group, because of the wide
variety of people in it, began to take on different beliefs and eventually
split into two actual "clans". One being a clan called the Talicticians.
They valued money and getting it, extremely high. But they no longer
wanted to steal. They sought out a better way. They found turning into a
clan of big business men was the way to go. They all follow the clan
rules established to being good business men. All the members are either
merchants, arms dealers, blacksmiths, and any number of other businesses
that exist in Monic. Most people like them but small independent merchants
and others don't appreciate the competition. They are not the type of clan
to fight, and instead believe in using their brains and good business sense,
which they have a lot of. As a law they must give a large portion of all
their profits to Hyru. Many disagree with this but don't complain because
of Hyru's power. The President of the clan is a Shrewd man called Mr. Manny.
He loves getting money and runs his business with an iron fist (so to speak).
Instituting new business rules whenever something comes up. The listing
of this rules can be found at any of the smaller business subsidaries of the
clan found all around Monic. Here is the most current
list of those rules:
