"Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted on the earth. The Lord
of hosts abides with us." Psalms 46:10
Be Still
When the car won't start, and you only have fifteen minutes to get there.
Be Still
When your computer is working incorrectly and you have deadlines on jobs to meet.
Be Still
When that teacher yells at you for no reason.
Be Still
When you are running from class to class and you drop your notebook
and papers fly everywhere.
Be still
When the phone is ringing all the time and people want more from you
than you can give
Be Still
When your parents are not there to pick you up from school and you have a lot of
homework
Be Still
when the mechanics tell you it will be three hours before your car is ready
Be Still
when people place rules on you that you don't understand
Be Still
when you are frustrated and you can't seem to find the time to do
everything that needs to be done.
Be Still!
Being still doesn't mean you don't take appropriate action when the action
is possible. You can be still with your hands and feet moving rapidly.
Being still is usually more of an inner posture than and outer one.
It is a quiet trust in a personal God, and a confidence that He will be
exalted.
