WE THE PEOPLE
We The People of the United States,
In Order to form a more perfect Union,
establish Justice,
insure domestic Tranquility,
provide for the common defense,
promote the general Welfare,
and secure the Blessings of Liberty
to ourselves and our Posterity,
do ordain and establish this Constitution
for the United States of America.
The preceding text is the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States, which our forefathers drafted to preserve the freedoms that they fought so hard to win. Once in a while we should read it to remember and refresh in our minds the very freedoms that we hold dear, and most of the time take for granted.
