I think there is very little difference between this and Coors. Corona tastes flat, skunky, and watery. In other words, it is poorly made. If there was no other beer at a party but this, I would be the designated driver. I hate this beer. People put lime in it to give it flavor. Most hispanics don't even drink this urine. Corona receives a zero...... add a lime and I guess we will give it a 1. Alcohol content has to count for something. |

Budweiser. Ah yes. The "King of Beers." My ass. Budweiser tastes like pee. I have never actually personally tasted pee of any sort, but if I were to imagine the flavor, it would be best described as Budweiser. It is no king of beer in my world. Definitely stay away from this stuff. I was at a party over the weekend and this is what the hosts purchase as refreshments. Granted. The everclear popsicle helped the flavor of the beer, but talk about a hangover the next day! I tell ya! Yikes! Not to mention the over exorbitant amount I had to drink to get a buzz going. If you are going to throw a party, do not serve Bud. Keep in mind a keg of JW Dundee's honey brown. It tastes good and is almost the same in price, I think it may even be cheaper!! |

This was nasty, like a homebrewing experiment gone bad. From the get-go it had a sharp, bad bitter flavor. Don't give me crap about Anchor not travelling well... A well brewed beer should at least make it across country before going bad. I left half of it on the bar, because I wanted to enjoy the rest of my evening without that funk taste on my mouth ruining all my other drinks. |

| Old Peculiar Ale |

Definitely peculiar at first, with an odd aftertaste. All it takes is a little getting used to, because it improved the farther down the bottle I got. It has a strong flavor, almost like coffee, but not overpowering like a scotch ale. This ale seemed to have a caramel-like flavor to it. It is a good relaxation beer, and would probably be better in a glass than the bottle I had it in. |
