Kerri was born on January 14th, 1967 in Fort Lee, New Jersey, just across the Hudson River. She was a gymnast during her early teenage years and competed in competitions in the Tri-State area of New York City. According to Kerri, the acting bug bit her when she played the small bit part of Woodstock, Snoopy's pal, in her 8th grade production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. An agent thought she was quite good and Kerri received a small role in a Jordache Jeans commercial in 1980 and nuber of modeling jobs and she had parts in TV soap operas, such as Search for tomorrow and Another world. Kerri graduated from Pascack Hills High School in Montvale, NJ in 1985 and was voted 'Most Talented' in their high school yearbook. She gave up her roles as high school cheerleader captain, a fast-food job and summer camp counselor just so she could audition for The Goonies. Kerri celebrated her 18th birthday on the set of The Goonies, which was filmed in Astoria, Oregon in 1985. In the fall of '85, Kerri entered Vassar college in Poughkeepsie, New York where she studied visual art and film. After college she got a job at Covenant House of California, were she worked with the homeless youth. A very nobel and down-to-earth thing to do in my opinion, the glamorous Hollywood didn't seem to entice her at all. But she didn't gave up acting, it was between the acting roles Kerri could work at the rehabilitation center. At that time she would do mainly TV appearances and some smal roles in movies. 1996 she hooked up with actress Bonnie Dickenson. Kerri and Bonnie wanted to combine their artistic and social concerns, so they gave birth to the production company Independent Women Artists. Now they decided to make an full-lenth motion picture and they result of that was Bellyfruit. Bellyfruit was released in 1999 and got nice feedback. Thou it's an Indie, you can get a hold of it at Amazon, so it shouldn't be so much trouble get a hold of it. She recently showed up in a episode of ER and the tv-serie Law & Order this year. But Kerri haven't aband acting in films, she had a part in Peter Calvin's new movie called Sleep. Which i know very little about, i tried to contact the mr Calvin with no luck. She got an upcoming prject to a feature film called "Dr. Schwartz" ( a romantic comedy) and a one hour dramatic TV series about inner city youth. This she reveals in Chris Parcellin interview for the website D-filed. So Kerri... We will keep our eyes wide open and follow your work with a great interest! People are supporting what you're doing. You're doing well, the best of luck to you.
