This is where you will need help operating the coolant flush machine. After removing the radiator cap, start the KLR motor and allow it to run while inserting the fat nozzle from the waste coolant tank into the radiator cap opening. The pressurized coolant waste tank will suck all the old coolant out of the radiator, and by allowing the engine to run during this process, the coolant will be pumped out of the engine block as well.
Shut the engine down when there is no more old coolant being drawn into the waste tank.
I pumped out the coolant overflow tank after the radiator was pumped out.
When both the radiator and coolant tank have been emptied, you can add fresh coolant directly from the Coolanol jug. Let the engine run after refilling, recheck the level and top off the radiator, also fill the coolant tank about 2/3 of the way up. (Don't overfill the Coolant overflow tank when cold).
I hope you find this procedure quicker and easier than draining the water pump, if you can befriend someone at the local quick lube or oil change service center, they can usually be pretty helpful.
