Hi, y'all!! This is Amanda McManus bringing you the latest news on LeAnn (Who else??) Rimes. So......here we go! LeAnn's new album, Sittin' on Top of The World, is scheduled to be released on May 5. Her first single from that CD, "Commitment", will be released March 25. The album is a 2-disk-23-song LP. The first single, along with "Looking Through Your Eyes" can be found in music stores now. LeAnn won Favorite Female Country Artist on the Blockbuster Awards!! Look for LeAnn in the 1998 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game!! Thatz it for now. Hi, it's Amanda again sending you the latest LeAnn news. LeAnn and her mother recently moved into their new houses in Nashville, TN. ( Yes, LeAnn has her own). Be sure to request LeAnn's BRAND NEW single. Called "Commitment", it is the first single off her new 2 disk LP called Sittin' on Top of the World. Unfortunately, my radio station ( KYGO FM- Denver, CO) refuses to play it. Hopefully, the fact that I request it about 30x a day will change their minds. Here's an update on LRW. Because I am the slowest typer on the face of the Earth, I recently hired a typist. That typist's job is to type approx. 700 articles. (And to think, I get 25 more every other day!!!). Because I am not the richest teen in the world, it is going to be quite a while before any articles appear. Please bear with me. My picture gallery is the same way. Because I live close to several magazine stores, I can proudy say that my LeAnn scrapbook ( worth about $400) has over 5,000 pictures- not counting the duplicates. However, finding room for them and scanning all of them will be another long chore. I appreciate your patience!!4/1/98

Well, I don't usually send out another newsletter this early, but I have some HUGE LeAnn info. First of all, look for LeAnn on Days of Our Lives starting April 29. Her character is named Madison, a desperate runaway that is taken in by Eric. It is a 3-part story, so watch on April 29, 30, amp; 31. There are two magazines devoted entirely to LeAnn. I bought them @ Barnes and Noble. 1. Teen Country Presents... LeAnn Rimes & the Hot Hunks of Country $3.50, US 2. Hey, all!!! Well here goes.....1) LeAnn's new CD, Sittin' on Top of the World was released yesterday. (May 5). It is GREAT!!!!! My favorites include "Nothin' New Under the Moon", "Insensitive", "These Arms of Mine" (I think that's a remake) and all the other 12.
2) LeAnn appeared for three days in Days of Our Lives....and did a FANTASTIC job. However, the recent edition of Soap Opera Weekly states that "Days led the pack last week, thanks to the confrontation between Kristen and Susan." Uh, no. Give a certain country singer some credit, y'all.
3) LeAnn's new singles, "Commitment" (country) and "Looking Through Your Eyes" (pop) are doing an incredible job on the charts.
4) For Fan Club members, the recent edition of Rimes Times should have arrived two weeks ago.
5) LRW is coming along. In two weeks, the first 9 articles out of 700 will appear in the article gallery. I'm currently working on a picture gallery.
6) It looks like LRW will be joining LeAnNet-The Ultimate LeAnn Rimes Net Alliance. I'll keep you updated.
7) LeAnn won Best Female Vocalist at the World Music Awards!!!! (They will be televised on May 28 on CBS).

'Ey y'all! Well, if you have been to LRW lately, you noticed (hopefully) that I'm sslloowwllyy adding new things. They include a picture gallery, Gazette Archive, article gallery URL, etc. Watch for more as time passes. LeAnn's new CD, Sittin' on Top of the World debuted at #4 on the charts. She probably would have done better if Curb and LAR Inc. didn't release it on THE SAME DAY as Garth's new CD. Look for an article of LeAnn in Country Song Roundup. (For good measure, there's one of Bryan in there, too). She was also in a recent issue of Country Weekly. Be sure to watch LeAnn Rimes in Concert on May 23. (Saturday). It's on Disney, so check your local listings. Thanks to Yahoo! for listing LRW! Visits have grown rapidly. Thatz it. Jim Hannon You know, the VP of MCG/Curb????? Jimmy Carter He's seen regularly on Today's Country, Prime Time Country, and Crook and Chase!!!! And here is the news from them. 1. LeAnn in Europe??????? LeAnn's fans love LeAnn, no matter where they are from. And the plan is for LeAnn to complete her tour with Bryan White, rest a little, tour another headliner tour, and then, late '99, to take on Europe. Heyyyyyyy.....it worked for Garth. 2. Put A Little Holiday in Your Heart Even though LeAnn is NOT recording now, there is a HUGE possibility of a Christmas album from her, either this year or next. Jim says that LeAnn would love to do one, because she would be "witnessing through music." That's the same reason why she made YLUML. And if she does do an X-Mas album, you can bet on 'Holiday' being on it.

Hello, LeAnn fans! This newsletter is a combination of new information (courtesy of Jim Hannon, Jimmy Carter, and countless magazines) and older info that I....forgot to report.
First of all, rumers are saying that "Surrender" will be LeAnn's next single. THAT IS UNCONFIRMED, by the way. I personally would LOVE to hear "The Heart Never Forgets" on the radio. Jim and Jimmy aren't talking.
LeAnn won the award, Female Breakthrough Artist from Viewpoint.
Look for LeAnn in the newest issue of New Country. She was also in last month's issue of Interview Magazine.
Did you know that "How Do I Live" topped the Adult Contemperary Charts for 11 weeks? She just barely missed a 12th week to Sir Elton John. "HDIL" is now Quadruple Platinum.
LeAnn's official site has debuted. Check it out here. I, personally, am not impressed. Stick w/ LeAnnR.com and LeAnn-Rimes.org. They are world's better.
While performing in my home state of CO, LeAnn complained of "weakness," and was rushed to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. It turned out to be a light viral infection. LeAnn is now fully recovered.

While leaving Colorado (This is after the Viral Infection), LeAnn's personal, black and silver bus broke down. (Transmission). It was fixed by an independent company.
I got LeAnn's autograph!!!!!! I'm thrilled!!!! Thatz it!

Hello, all! Y'all may have noticed that you are recieving 2 newsletters instead of one. That is because I have a TON of news about LeAnn, and a TON of news about LRW. So, I decided to do two.LeAnn will be recording 5 new songs live w/ Blue Country next month!
Unlike a published report has stated, LeAnn is NOT going to buy a place in LA. Instead, she is planning to rent an apartment. She will hopefully begin shooting a movie in LA in January. She is planning to, at the end of this year's touring, stop for about 6 months to shoot it. She IS touring next year.
LeAnn has recently graced the covers of Country Weekly, New Country, and Entertainment Weekly.
LeAnn's upcoming CD will include the songs Leavin' on Your Mind, and I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry.
LeAnn has a beautiful 1998 tourbook out. ( So does Bryan!) Pics from LeAnn's will be up soon. Thatz all I can think of! Jinnie

LeAnn has a beautiful, 16 month, 1999 calender on sale. (Thanks SO MUCH to Dan @ LAR Inc. for this info. I will have the pre-released pics when I recieve permission).
The second part to "World" will go on sale in Oct./Nov.
There has been a rumor in cyberspace these days that LeAnn will be singing onscreen in at least one of the Star Wars prequels. According to Star Wars Insider, that's just a myth.
LeAnn has been offered a non-starring role in an upcoming WB picture directed by Oscar-winning Xavier Koller. Filming would start in mid-November.
