Military Spouses' Club - Let's Play Cards!

Military Spouses' Club - Let's Play Cards!
I love to play cards, so I felt that this site wouldn't be complete without a place for everyone to get together and play.

This activity will be facilitated through the Yahoo Games websites.

When Do We Play?
You can play on the Yahoo! website anytime...there are always tons of people playing. I would like to organize games for just us, too. I will use the MSC Chat and the Newsflash Page on this site to announce times for regular games.

What Games Are Available?
Yahoo Games provides Spades, Hearts, Bridge, Pinochle, Poker, Euchre, Gin, Cribbage, and Blackjack.

**As a side note: MahJong is also offered. Though not a card game, anyone interested should check it out. If there is widespread interest, I could include it in tournaments and such.

How Can I Play?
First, you need to get registered with Yahoo! To register, click on the Yahoo Games link near the bottom of this page. Click on 'help' and follow the instructions. This process will take you about 5-10 minutes (Yahoo Games is a free service). Second, you need to send me an email so that I can include you in gaming emails and organize tournaments. When you send the email, be sure to include which game(s) you are interested in playing. Also be sure to put the words "Let's Play Cards" in the Subject Line

**If you are already registered with Yahoo Chat, then you don't need to re-register. Yahoo Games will recognize you from your Yahoo Chat Profile.

What If I Don't Know How To Play
Yahoo has basic instructions for each of its games. There is also a "Beginner Lounge" for each of the games. This lounge is created especially for players who are new to the game. Give it a shot...

TOURNAMENTS!

I will announce tournaments and post tournament rules as soon as I have enough interested people. Tournaments are a LOT of fun, so please shoot me an email if you would be interested in playing.

Any image that appears on this page that is not listed with its source above was acquired in one of the following three ways: The image may have been given to me by the artist for exclusive use on this site. The image may have been pulled from a reputable public domain graphics engine such as ArribaVista.com. The image also could have been taken directly from the image directories at my host, Angelfire. There are several images throughout this site that were acquired by one of these three methods. Because I believe strongly in making sure that all of the artwork appearing on this site is appropriately used and credited, please feel free to send any inquiries, comments, concerns, or requests regarding the images on this site directly to me via email.
