I will add recipes here that I receive from the people who visit this site. I was thinking that eventually, we could have a "Recipe of the Week" Taste Test or something--I'm working on it.
TALES FROM THE KITCHEN:
I want to make a page here for stories. Everyone has had an embarrassing moment in the kitchen at one time or another. In addition to funny stories, time in the kitchen can also produce intimate family moments. And...on occasion, we meet someone who's culinary talents are what we remember and love the most about them. Whatever your Kitchen Stories happen to be--I want to hear them!
NUTRITION AND HEALTHY COOKING TIPS:
Any original tips for healthier cooking? Any nutritional/dietary trends or news to share? This is the place.
DECORATING THE TABLE AND OTHER NEAT STUFF:
If you know how to make swans out of napkins; de-bone a chicken without tearing it to pieces; make art out of mashed potatoes; or have some other special talent for creating spectacular and decorative presentations at the dinner table; post your ideas here.
To submit a recipe, tip, or story, just send me an email with "Recipe Room" in the subject line. If the recipe you send is from a copyrighted cook book, please include the title, author, and publishing house name in your email. Also, be sure to tell us which branch of our Armed Forces you represent so that we can include that information in your credit.
