In the fall of 1996, when they started using the synthetic audio and then the synthetic thoughts, I was first stricken with sever panic, I did not eat or sleep for long periods of time. I lost roughly 20 lbs. in a month, luckily I was a little over weight anyway.
My youngest son’s personality has suffered, as I was taken from him for his whole year in Kindergarten, he adapted they awful traits of the brattiest child in school. He is nervous, sees a psychiatrist for therapy, and has picked on weaker children in his classroom as an outlet. My oldest son has suffered academically, he use to be great in math and now is doing poorly, and we spend our spare time with him helping him to read, as his weakest area is in reading and he is a ways behind.
The ordeal of my parents having to testify in front of a court and see their daughter unwillingly placed in a mental ward, aged them a few more years.
Scars and still a few open wounds on my children, parents and siblings.
