"Oh, come on, Shauna. You know you're never going to get caught. Heck, they've seen you at enough of the arenas to know that you frequent them, but they still can't catch you. I, on the other hand, do not have your incredible luck. If it goes for either of us, it goes for me." With that, Amy pulled the money out of Shauna's hand. Shauna reached around in retaliation, and Marko joined in. Soon they were all fighting over the money, until a voice up front called out, "Hey, cool it back there! The cops are still watching for anything suspicious, and you guys would the perfect example of suspicious."
"Yes, Scotty, dear!" Shauna called back to the driver. Scott reached around and chucked one of his dirty socks at her. Shauna pretended to gag on it's foul smell. He warned her with, "There's plenty more where that came from, little friend!" Shauna just smiled and climbed out of the van at Amy's house. The next morning, Shauna's adoptive mom would come by, and they had to get some sleep. Sleep was a long time in coming though. Strange images kept going through her mind. Little did she know it, but the same images were going through Amy's mind as well. The night was fretful for both of them, as the memories, or imaginings, kept coming. With sleep, came the nightmares.
