RUDOLPH CARL HENRY LEHFELDT

Rudolph Carl Henry Lehfeldt was born December 28, 1840 in Germany. He married Mary Witt on November 2, 1864. He and his young family (wife and 3 children) left Germany in July 1870 aboard the SS Silesia. Coming to America with his brother Hans Heinrich Lehfeldt and his sister Emma Lehfeldt, Rudolph and his young family traveled by train and settled in Otter Creek, near Denison, Iowa. There he began a sheep business. Mary Passed away in 1873, leaving Rudolph alone to care for 4 young children.

(4) Herman Lehfeldt - (1873 - 1926)
