How to beat the bosses in

Here is my section on how to beat the bosses! This is all you need to know about beating all the major bosses in the game!

Mushroom Way

Try to be at level two before you fight these guys. Use timed blocks to defend against the hammer attacks, And use timed jumps to take the first one down. After you destroy him, the other will usually do Valor Up, making your attacks less powerful. A few jumps and a few attacks should get you past these guys quick.

Both Mallow and Mario should be at least level five by the time you fight Mack.(though I like level 6 because you can do Super Jump.) Use the timed hammer with Mario while Mallow thows thunderbolts. Mack will usually appear three times before you win the star piece.

When Belome is in the sewers, you should be at least Level 6 and have the Trueform Pin equipped. Use Mario's Hammer and Mallow's Thunderbolts. When you confront Belome in his temple in Land's End, you should use Mario, Mallow, and Toadstool. Mario should use the Masher or Fire, Mallow using his thunderbolts, and Toadstool should heal. Mallow and Toadstool's clones have the fewest hit points, but a couple of Mario clones have the least powerful attack and magic.

You'll aquire Geno in your party when you meet up with Bowyer. You should be at least at Level 7 by now. Equip the Wake up Pin before you fight(if possible). Even though he doesn't have any weaknesses, most attacks should do adequate damage. When Bowyer freezes your A button, watch your flower points, have plenty of Mushrooms in stock, because you might be limited to the X button at times.

Right now, your group of Mario, Mallow, and Geno should be at Level 8 or higher. Punchinello fights with three different sizes of bombs. You can destroy the first size with a blast of Mallow's thunderbolt. Use Mario and Geno's special or regular attacks to wear the boss down while Mallow continues to destroy the bombs.When the larger Mezzo bombs drop in, wipe out the first set with every one. Then, when the next set comes down, ignore them and concentrate on Punchinello. Block the bombs when they attack you. When the battle is over, the giant bomb will crush Punchinello and you will get the 3rd star piece.

When you confront the two guys, your group should contain Mario, Mallow, and Bowser. You should be at Level 10 or more. Mario should have the Masher, Mallow the Cymbals, and Bowser with Chomp. If you prefer Geno, Grate Guy is weak to his shots. Have plenty of syrups; your magic should be the best weapon.

Ahhhhhh! It's a giant cake! The battle with the cake is definetly weird. Mario, Bowser and either Geno or Mallow(Geno if you're an attack kind of person, Mallow for healing). Because the chefs will retreat, concentrate of the cake. First you need to put out the candles. Five consecutive hit's will do it. Mario's jumps are very affective. The cake does very powerful attacks, but if you do the battle fast enough, he'll be gone in a jiffy. The raspbery is the part underneath. It is weak to the same things and has 600 HP. After you finish Booster will eat the cake and the Wedding will end. Weapons should include the new masher and chomp or chomp shell.

When you enter the battle, you party should contain Mario, Toadstool, and Bowser. Mario is the main fighter because his fire is great for frying squid. You should be at level 12. But before you fight the King you have to fight the tentacles. Make sure to have the the Saftey Ring and Saftey Badge equipped to protect against the Tentacle fear attacks.(although a group hug will fix that in a jiffy.) If you have fearless pins, use them too. When you make it to Calamari his tentacles go as follows. Left hp:260/attack:82/ defense:50. Right hp:200/ attack:87/ defense:20.They are weak to fire.
