THE SERIE A PLAYER SALARIES
The December 4th edition of Italian newspaper 'L'Avvenire' published an
extremely interesting investigation on the player Salaries of each of the 18
Serie A teams.
It is important to note that what you see here are the yearly installments in
Euros that the players get after taxes.
For each team the highest ten and lowest two salaries are shown.
In Italy the player with the highest salary is Alessandro Del Piero, who earns
5.5 million Euros a year. Next in line is Cristian Vieri, followed by the trio
composed by Rivaldo (5 million Euros), Batistuta (5 million Euros), and Nesta (5
million Euros). Then come, in order, Recoba (4.87 million Euros), Shevchenko
(4.7 million Euros), Inzaghi (4.7 million Euros), Rui Costa (4.7 million Euros),
and Totti (4.5 million Euros).
