FILIPPO INZAGHI HAS TAKEN STOCK OF HIS CONDITIONS

"The worst is over. Day after day I see some improvements but I mustn’t be in a hurry. When you notice some progresses you wish that you could speed up times, and this would be a mistake. Together with my physiotherapist (Giorgio Puricelli), in these last 2 days I worked in the swimming pool, instead today I will train in the gym. After 35 days with the protection I must recover the muscular tone."

Pippo Inzaghi’s decision, to go with his playmates to Rome for Italy Cup, explains his love for his team. "We went from the draw against Brescia. The team had received some criticisms and I understand it was a difficult moment. For all this reasons it seemed good for me to stay with my playmates. And since I was in the capital, I took advantage of it by having a check up on my injured knee, even if the date of the next consultation was already fixed on the beginning of February."

Before starting to work with the physiotherapist Giorgio Puricelli, the Milan forward said good luck to his playmates, who were leaving.

"I had said our team is competitive and it had to be given trust to those who played less – he reminded – who has played, as the last matches proved, has always made himself be found ready. Now it will be our turn to give our help; when we come back we will be rested than the others."

On the match against Fiorentina, Pippo has said "it would have been better to face them 2 weeks ago: now all is more difficult."
