INZAGHI COMMITS CAREER TO MILAN

Filippo Inzaghi was positively glowing when commenting on the new contract he has signed with AC Milan, which binds him to the European Champions until 2008.

"This is a dream come true," beamed the 29-year-old Italian international striker. "I wanted to end my career with the Rossoneri and this will enable me to do that.

"For me it is a great satisfaction and demonstration of esteem from the club," he added. "Everyone knows how much I wanted to wear this shirt and I am very happy because I spent two wonderful seasons here and now I can end my career here at Milan.

"It took me just five minutes to sign the new contract. I put my signature on a blank contract, I trust in the club, I will never have problems with them.'"

Inzaghi's move comes just 24 hours after Gennaro Gattuso also committed himself to the San Siro side until 2008.
