WE WERE WORTHY WINNERS, SAYS GOAL-KING INZAGHI

Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi believes his side were worthy winners after he scored in the 2-1 defeat of Bayern Munich.

"Tonight's result, against one of the best teams in Europe, is very satisfying for me and for the whole squad," he said.

"We rode our luck at times as they were pressing hard towards the end, but overall we were worthy winners.

"To win all four matches in a difficult group shows what a force we can be."
