INZAGHI NEEDS TREATING HIS FOOT

Pippo Inzaghi's left foot pain has worsen. He has been suffering from a plant inflammation since the beginning of September. He managed to be on the pitch against Bayern Munich, but his condition is now to be checked by the Rossonero medical staff at training resumption. The player is likely to undergo treatments and have a rest in the next future. The injury dates back to the first calling-up with the National side after the World Cup. His suffering started the day after a training game in which Pippo even score four goals, before the match between Azerbaijan and Italy. The Azzurri doctors, always in contact with the Rossoneri ones, kept Inzaghi under observation before allowing him to take part to the European qualifier game. Once back to Milanello, the forward wasn't able to practice in view of the trip to Modena, though he joined the match on September 14, as the pain was nearly over. The following days, then, he completed his recovery and until the game against Lazio, his foot hadn't worried him. But after decamping at the Olimpico, the pain came back. Pippo managed to play Bayern, but in the post-match he explained himself his problem and the necessity to have a rest.
