HIM AGAIN!
Filippo Inzaghi has resumed scoring.
After one-match break in the league against Lazio, the Rossonero striker stabbed
again the opponent keeper. With a brace against Bayern Munich Pippo has reached
his 12th seasonal goal within eight games. He has registered seven times in the
Champions League campaign so far, being at his 42nd European strike in career.
There are no records he can't beat, as he showed surpassing Alessandro Altobelli
and Josè Altafini to become the best Italian scorer in the European
competitions. But he doesn't content himself with this title: now he aims at
being by far the best scorer in the European competitions, beating the leader
Gerd Muller's 67 nets.
A tireless worker up front with a predatory instinct: that's Filippo Inzaghi.
'It's impossible for me to reach Muller', Pippo said at the end of the
match. 'However, I'm very happy with playing in this team. It's a magic
moment, I hope it will last forever. The goals I prefer? Those from the edge of
the box, because the others are more difficult'
