INZAGHI OPERATION GOES WELL, MAXIMUM FOUR MONTH LAYOFF CONFIRMED
Fillippo Inzaghi successfully underwent
the operation to his ailing left knee in Rome on Wednesday afternoon, but the
diagnosis of his physician confirms the former Juve now AC Milan striker will be
forced to miss at least three months of action.
“If last minute complications don’t arise, Inzaghi will face a layoff
ranging from three to four months,” said professor Campi.
The Milan hit-man injured, but didn’t tear, the ligaments in his left knee
after he clashed with Chievo keeper Lupatelli during last Sunday’s clash won
by the Rossoneri 3-2.
