IMPRESSIVE INZAGHI FLOORS TORINO
MILAN - Milan don't
allow any discount. With an impressive display, Ancelotti's side crush also
struggling Torino and now can draw breath during the upcoming Serie A week pause
in order to recover their energies for the next two away games against Atalanta
and Chievo. The tennis-like score against Camolesi's side confirms the Rossoneri
magic moment and allows them to extend their good run.
In front of President Silvio Berlusconi, who hasn't appeared in the directors'
box at the San Siro since last year's August, a superb Milan convinced with a
goal feast and got thundering applause.
From the opening stages Carlo Ancelotti's pressing proved to be efficient and
his men were 3-0 up by the break. Pirlo converted from the spot in the 20th
minute, after Inzaghi had gained a penalty for being fouled by Delli Carri. Then
it was once again Superpippo show, with the prolific striker taking his tally to
15 goals in nine games through his hat-trick against the Granata. He actually
doubled slotting home a low cross from Serginho who scored few minutes later a
fine solo goal to make it 3-0.
At the restart the leit motiv didn't change: Inzaghi headed in his second eleven
minutes from the end, before a Rui Costa's cross took a deflection off Torino
defender Stefano Fattori and found its way into the net to make the 5-0. Then,
in the dying minutes, Inzaghi completed his hat-trick and Milan's route with a
close-range effort.
