...AND IT'S PIPPO TIME AGAIN!
Filippo Inzaghi is at his sixth seasonal goal......in only four games played. His predatory instincts, his tactical skills, his adrenalin allow him to be always among the stars. At his debut in Champions League he has still left his mark.......or better, marks. Against Lens his double, within the space of four minutes, gave Milan the first three points of their Champions League campaign in a Group which proved to be much more difficult than it seemed. With his header on the inch-perfect cross from Kaladze and his second goal, inspired by Rui Costa, Pippo gained ground in the special list of European top scorers. Now before him he has only Alessandro Altobelli with 39 strikes, while the Rossonero forward has registered 37. He's also a model for his humility, because he always has a word for his team-mates and supporters. He's so able to keep concentration up that the opponents marking him are driven mad in order to keep him at bay. Good at possession in the difficult moments, he can be clever and shrewd. More than once against Lens he held the ball on the byline. And few minutes before the referee blew the final whistle, he decamped among applauses.
