Episode Guide For Season 1

Agent Scully was assigned to Agent Mulder to head up the "X-Files." Scully was supposed to be a traitor to Mulder, but soon turned on Cancer Man. Scully, being a doctor, could perform autopsies on dead bodies. This case brings them to Oregon because there was a teen-age girl's body found dead and several others missing. The one piece of evidence obtained was s small metal cylinder, which Cancer Man put in the storage house in the Pentagon.

1.2 "Deep Throat"

Air date: 9-17-93

Mulder in contacted by a mystery man working for the government by the name of "Deep Throat" saying he will provide information proving the truth about UFO's. They go to Idaho to investigate the disappearance of an Air Force pilot. What they discover is that the military is performing mind experiments on pilots who have flown aircrafts created from alien technology.

1.3 "Squeeze"

Air date: 9-24-93

Mulder and Scully travel to Maryland where they face Eugene Tooms, a thing that can squeeze his body into anything and through anything. The mutant eats the livers of five different victims then goes tries to go into hibernation for another 30 years but Mulder and Scully stop it.

1.4 "Conduit"

Air Date: 10-1-94

In Iowa, when Mulder hears of a teenage girl disappearing, it quickly reminds him of his lost sister. Talking to the girl's mother, Mulder and Scully learn that she also was abducted but is reluctant to talk about it. They try to piece together all the information, but at the end, new info comes up that fits nowhere and has no explanation.

1.5 "The Jersey Devil"

Air Date: 10-8-93

A murder, very similar to one committed in 1947 leads Mulder and Scully to New Jersey. The suspect: "The Jersey Devil", a beast that has been stalking human prey for a long time. They soon learn that the subject of their search was a mutant lady, a throwback to humanity.

1.6 "Shadows"

Air Date: 10-22-93

Lauren Kyte seems to be under some kind of ghostly protection. Once Mulder and Scully investigate they learn that her employer was like a father to her and he supposedly committed suicide. What really happened was his business partner murdered him. This ghost was out to seek justice.

1.7 "Ghost in the Machine"

Air Date: 10-29-93

Deep Throat informs Mulder that the government is interested in a computer genius named Brad Wilczek. He over took a building with computer programs that kills any one who tries to hack in or enter the building.

1.8 "Ice"

Air Date: 11-5-93

When communications are cut off from a research facility is Alaska, Mulder, Scully and a team of research scientist head up there. What they find are parasitic wormlike creatures that control people's mind and increase fear and paranoia with end in deadly results.

1.9 "Space"

Air Date: 11-12-93

Mulder and Scully a secretly informed about someone taking over the space program. They learn that it was Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Belt, a former astronaut and the current head of the shuttle program. He was controlled by extraterrestrial forces that don't want anyone to join them in space.

1.10 "Fallen Angel"

Air Date: 11-19-93

Mulder has 24 hours to prove that an alien ship has crashed. A small town evacuation, for a "toxic waste spill", leads Mulder to Wisconsin. Things become more difficult when Commander Henderson and his troops join in the cover-up. Mulder and Scully meet Max Fenig, a man claiming he was abducted and that this case mirrors that of Roswell, NM in 1947.

1.11 "Eve"

Air Date: 12-10-93

Two men were murdered by their eight-year-old daughters in Connecticut and California. But what draws Mulder and Scully to this case is the fact that the two girls were exact twins. They later learn that both families were in an experiment known as the "Litchfield Project" in 1950, which resulted in the creation of their children known as "Adams and Eves." Their children have higher strength, intelligence and their children all look exactly alike.

1.12 "Fire"

Air Date: 12-17-93

When Mulder is visited by an old girlfriend from London, he learns that members of their British Lord's cabinet were burned to death. When Scully joins the investigation, they find out that the suspect is Cecil L'ively, a man that can supposedly create fires in his mind.

1.13 "Beyond The Sea"

Air Date: 1-7-94

Scully's father died. During this, they take on a kidnapping case that leads them to a prisoner on death row, claming that he's a physic. He tells them he'll help them solve the case, if they get the sentence changed. Scully, being a skeptic, doesn't belive this until the physic sends her images of her dead father. Scully turns to the physic as a possible channel to her father.

1.14 "Genderbender"

Air Date: 1-21-94

Five people die while having sex. (yes Sex) Mulder and Scully investage a religious order known as the Kindred. They discovered these people can switch sexes, and they later find out that these people were actually aliens.Scully is almost tricked by one of these, but Mulder saved her.

1.15 "Lazarus"

Air Date: 2-4-94

In the bank, Scully and FBI agent Jack Willis have a shoot out with a robber. Willis and the robber are both wounded. Willis dies, but then comes back alive after the robber dies. Shortly after, Willis begins acting strangely. Mulder concludes that the robber's spirit had somehow taken over Willis' body.

1.16 "Young At Heart"

Air Date: 2-11-94

Mulder finds himself being stalked by a killer from the past named John Barnett. Mulder had jailed him several years earlier. Barnett supposedly died in prison, but is now stalking Mulder and especially Scully. It turns out Barnett was the subject of a aging experiment which allows him to age backwards therefore providing him with a perfect disguise.

1.17 "E.B.E."

Air Date: 2-18-94

Claiming sends Mulder and Scully on a wild U.F.O chase which leads them to a U.F.O crash over Iraq. Before Mulder discovers the truth, the E.B.E (Extraterrestrial Biological Entity) had been destroyed. Deep Throat says he was a man who participated in the extermination of the E.B.E. He is helping Mulder because he feels it will cure his guilty conscience.

1.18 "Miracle Man"

Air Date: 3-18-94

A faith healer named Samuel who has previously brought a man back to life was being investigated after he tried to save a woman but failed. To convince Mulder he brought images of Mulder's sisters abduction. In the end, it is revealed that the faith healer is authentic.

1.19 "Shapes"

Air Date: 4-1-94

Mulder and Scully investagate sightings of a strange beast in Montana. Here they find out that farmer Jim Parker shot the beast after it attacked his son. The beast was an indian dressed up. Later, the boy turns into an Indian manitou.

1.20 "Darkness Falls"

Air date: 4-15-94

Mulder and Scully travel to a National Forest where loggers have reported their co.-workers have been killed by an unknown creature. Mulder and Scully become trapped in the forest where they discover ancient insects are the killers.

1.21 "Tooms"

Air Date: 4-22-94

Eugene Tooms who was arrested for cannibalism was released from jail. Finding Mulder was stopping him from commiting more crimes, he framed Mulder for assault. Mulder and Scully find his nest where they have a final confrontation.

1.22 "Born Again"

Air Date: 4-29-94

An eight-year-old girl who has been known to tear apart dolls is linked to a series of deaths. The deaths seemed like the work of a famous serial killer. Mulder and Scully discover that the serial killer was reborn inside of this girl.

1.23 "Roland"

Air Date: 5-6-94

In a laboratory a scientist is killed in a wind tunnel by a handicap janitor named Roland. Mulder and Scully learn the janitors brother, Dr. Arthur Grable, died in an apparent accident where his head was kept in a jar of liquid nitrogen. Mulder concludes that Grable's brain was forcing Roland to murder people.

1.24 "The Erlenmeyer Flask"

Air Date: 5-13-94

Mulder and Scully investigate a scientist, Dr. Berube, who clones alien DNA, recovered from UFO crash sites. He injects the DNA into ill humans, who get better and are stronger then they were. Deep Throat helps Mulder and Scully discover the truth before it is covered up. Later, Deep Throat dies in exchange for alien embryo. The X Files close and Mulder and Scully are reassigned.
