6.1 "The Beginning"

Air Date: 11/8/98

This episode was a follow-up from the movie. The X-Filles are still closed, and Mulder and Scully are trying to get them re-opened. Without any evidence the FBI sees no reason to. They think that they "stories" about exterterristial viruses are plain dumb, not including their "outragous" stories about bees, and crop fields, and the unexplainable about what happend in Antartica.

6.2 "Drive"

Air Date: 11/15/98

Agent Mulder finds himself driving a man around who recently killed his wife. This man contains a disease that causes him great pain if he is not going at a fast enough speed. Meanwhile, Scully attempts to concoct a plan that will get both Mulder and this mad man out alive. The plan works, but it's too late to save the disease infected man. His head explodes as the car comes to a halt. Scully did not have enough time to inject the medicine that would cure him, and so it is that he followed the fate of hi wife.

6.3 "Triangle"

Air Date: 11/22/98

In this episode Mulder travels to the Bermuda Triangle only to lose his ship and fall unconsious into the water. He dreams of the past and the fate of the people on board the Ghost Ship. Meanwhile, after a stressful venture through the FBI federal building, Scully takes the Lone Gunmen to search for her partner. She boards the Ghost Ship, but finds nobody. Eventually she discovers Mulder in the water, and takes him to the hospital. At the hospital, Mulder finally tells Scully he loves her, and he recalls kissing her in his dream (and getting the crap kicked out of him for it).

6.4 "Dreamland (I)"

Air Date: 11/29/98

In this episode, Mulder drags Scully out to Area 51 where he is supposed to meet an informant. Instead, he is captured by Area 51 security. As the arrest take place, an aircraft passes over, and Mulder mysteriously changes identities with one of the Area 51 agents. The Area 51 agent (Who looks and sounds like Mulder) leaves with Scully. Scully becomes suspicious when she receives a phone call from a man claiming to be Mulder (and he really is). Mulder (Who looks and sounds like the Area 51 agent) returns to the base. After a long day at this new work, he returns to the house of the Area 51 agent. There he stays up and watches pornography. The Area 51 agent's wife (Who thinks Mulder is her husband) is really having difficulty in her marriage. The episode ends when the Area 51 agent (Who everyone thinks is Mulder), frames the real Mulder for treason.

6.5 "Dreamland (II)"

Air Date: 12/6/98

The confusion begins to deteriorate, as Scully discovers the man she is with is not really Mulder, because he is quite the ladies man (something the real Mulder never was). Scully, the Area 51 agent, his wife, the real Mulder, and the informant (who turns out to be a Area 51 general) are all at a bar. Confusion builds, and in the end everyone figures out who is who. The only problem now, is figuring out how to return them to their original identities. They discover, that by going back to the place where this all started at around the same time of day, they could be restored to their original identities. This works, but no one involved has any recollection of the events afterwards.

6.6 "The Ghost That Stole Christmas"

Air Date: 12/13/98

Mulder forces Scully to go to an abandoned house that is supposedly haunted. Mulder tells Scully the story of two lovers that lived there, and committed murder suicides. The man killed the wife and then killed himself. Mulder and Scully suddenly become confused and scared when they encounter the two ghosts. The two ghosts had cursed the house by making all the people who lived there commit murder suicide. Angered that the house had been condemned, they tried to force Mulder and Scully to kill each other. The woman ghost appeared to Scully as Mulder. She made Scully think that she was shot, then the woman ghost made herself look like an injured Scully to Mulder. And also made Mulder think he was shot by Scully. The two seemingly injured agents tried calling to the door, and when they spotted each other they nearly shot each other because Scully thought Mulder shot her, and vise versa. Mulder got to his feet, realizing they were uninjured. They darted out unharmed. In the end they though it was all a figment of their imaginations, but the real ghosts disappeared with Christmas Eve. The ghosts gave Mulder and Scully a sense of not wanting to die alone, and they exchanged christmas presents.
