Assistant Director Skinner
Assistant FBI Director Skinner plays an important role in the X-Files. He guides Mulder and Scully through perilous journeys, but we are unsure just whose side he is on. At times he bends to the will of his superiors, but he also defies them in order to help the agents under him. He is a good man at heart, and he wants the truth just like Mulder & Scully. He was dismissed as the Assistant Director of Mulder and Scully. Only time will tell what his true purpose is. His last appearance was in "Triangle".
