Part 2- Death?
We last left our heroe in Pouncival's basement where they were nearly killed by Macavity. Just when they thought it was over, it had just began. A evilly familiar voice coame from the darkness: "You're going home alright. In your grave!"
Mungoejrrie whipped around to the familiar voice. Matropolis knew she had to do something but she didn't know what. Macavity had enough power to kill them all if he wanted. But there had to be a weakness.
Unfortuantely, a four week old kitten is lost. So Matropolis didn't know what they would do.
"What do you want from us?" Rumpelteazer yelled. She felt like she was repeating herself from so many times from before.
"Oh nothing...just your lives!" Macavity bellowed. Another evil laugh echoed through the basement. James, George, Jonathan and Tumblebrutus were huddled together. Mungojerrie and RUmpelteazer seemed to be the only was standing up to this big bully. Matropolis knew she had to do something. She had only been born four week ago, but she knew she couldn't let Macavity take her friends.
"Our lives?" Matropolis asked. "Techinically, that's impossible. You see, our lives our what we do every hour of the day. You can't really take the course of time from us. It won't work." Macavity stood and thought for a moment.
"DON'T TOY WITH ME!!!" Macavity yelled.
"Actually, we can't. Toy is a noun, not whatever it's called you're using it as." MAcavity became infuriated.
"I'll kill you all now!" He screamed. Then Travisina knew what Matropolis was doing to annoy him.
"How?" Travie asked.
"However I want!" Macavity replied angrily.
"Why?" Pouncival asked.
"Because I want to!" Macavity yelled.
"You must have a reason," James added.
"Because I hate Jellicles!!!" he screeched.
"Why?" Travie asked.
"AAAAAHHHHHH!" he slashed out his claws and scraped up Travie's face. Apparently, that theme of work wasn't going to work. Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer scowled. "Well, aren't you going to help me?" MAcavity asked them with a new grin.
"We told you, we don't work for you anymore!" Mungojerrie replied.
"Then I really will have to kill you." He reached out to Matropolis and grabbed her around her neck. he lifted her up. "I wouldn't move." Rumpel jumped quick. His grip got tighter on Matropolis. No one moved. Matropolis looked around. I really do have friends. She would have smiled if she could've at the time.
Then she saw a raged look in each one of her friend's eyes. THey all stared at Macavity. They didn't blink. Matty turned her head and stared right into Macavity. Everyone stared right into him. He shook his head and dropped Matty. She gasped for air and ran over to her friends. When he got back up, he looked posessed.
"RATS!!!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Oh no," Mungo and Rumpel grumbled lowly. The Rats came marching.
"This are rats?" MAtropolis yelled. "They look more like mice!" the rats ran after matty. With all her might, she disappeared into thin air and reappeared behind Macavity. Macavity turned around and Mungojerrie leapt on his back. Rumpelteazer helped pull the weight down and the kittens and helped pin him down. Macavity couldn't move. His rat were so scared they ran in the corner.
"Do you surrender?!" Pouncival asked.
"Never!" Pouncival pertended to grab ahold of his neck and choke him. Macaivty didn't know what to do.
"Look like your 'sol'," James smiled.
"Do you surrender?" Jonathan asked.
"Yes!" he managed. Suddenly, he disappered.
"You're gonna get it!" Macavity yelled form the darkness. The rats disappeared as well. The cats looked around. Nothing.
"I'm glad THAT'S over," Travie said.
"Let's go back to the junkyard," Mungo suggested. They ran all the way to the junkyard.
By the time Matropolis was four months, she was used to being who she was. No one cared she was part dog (except James; he hated dogs). That was when Munkustrap decided it was time. Time to tell her who her other siblings.
"Matty..." Munkustrap tried to stall. But Matty was too hyper.
"Come on dude, I gotta pee!" she hopped up and down.
"We found you siblings."
"Awesome! Who are they?"
"Clifford. CLifford and Annie.
"Where are they?" she asked, still hopping.
"In the Pollicle Junkyard."
"Why?"
"Cause they're Pollicles."
Matropolis never made it behind a bush.
