Welcome to the magic Kingdom Page!
This web site has many pictures and desriptions of Magic Kingdom
so enjoy!! Tip#1 when you're going to the Parks make sure to take the whole crew...You don't want to leave ANYONE out of the fun. Welcome to Disney World home of Mickey and gang.
There are seven different sections of Magic Kingdom-Main Street U.S.A which is where you start, right when you get off the fairy boat or monorail ( Which you can pick up from the parking lot. Those are the only ways to get to the Magic Kingdom.)Mainstreet U.S.A is a place where you can pick up an Ice cream cone and sit in the flowered courtyard out on a duck filled lake or visit the magic shop even play in an arcade or ride a horse drawn carriage. The golden yellow and olive green atmosphere of Main Street U.S.A makes it feel old and delightful which is your first acknowledgement of some disney magic.Another section of the park is Adventure land! Look for the bridge to the right of Mainstreet if you can't find it then listen for the sound of strollers bumping over it and let your ears guide the way!The beige brick adobe style buildings and the colorful totem poles all make the scenary of adventure land something special. The first attraction that you'll see to your left is The Swiss Family tree house. This attraction is a quick loader but not all that exciting if you've been on it a few times before. You walk up bridges in a replica of the Swiss Family house where you can see live parrots and some nice works of design in the rooms and bridges it makes it feel like your in a real tree! Next if you keep walking straight you'll see a brown wooden building with a big sign next to it that reads: The Enchanted Tiki Room Under new management. The Tiki room is now owned by the bird off the lion king and the bird off aladdin.while sitting inside this round theater room you'll see some awesome amintronic birds sing, dance and fight with a spectacular finale with the volcano god.To the left of the Enchanted Tiki Room is one of my favorite attractions at the Magic Kingdom. The Pirates of the Carribean as you step in to the caverns the queing line seems to go on for miles especialy on rainy days but once inside theres many things to look at to make the time go by.While walking in the cavern queing line you'll see prison cell windows with skeltons playing cards inside, and cannons with stacks of cannon balls and gun power barrels all perfect picture scences.Once you board the boats you go deeper into the caverns to see an animatronic crab.It feels so real you'll think that your really in a cavern. When you pass your second turn it seems that the water starts to pick up and the wind begins to howl just then the aminatronic skull on the wall tells you: rough seas ahead mateys.Just then you swiftly drop a good 15 feet ( Don't worry it's not that steep )After that your right in the middle of a ship shooting cannons at a fort on your right as your boat dodges the in coming cannon balls you'll be splashed with water. As you get out of the smokey surrounding you come upon a pirate town with some of the most rememberable amitronics ever seen! Next look out for the old truck sitting outside the tour guide building. When you enter the guide building you'll walk though another themed queing line with posters all over the walls making it look like a real jungle touring center.Once you board the fairy your rugged skipper dodges danger as you exprience landscapes such as a southeast Asian jungle. the nile valley, the African veldt. and the Amazon. The Next Section of the Magic Kingdom is Frontier land.Where you walk though a cowboy town with indain outposts and the home of two of the Magic Kingdom mountains. One of the attractions in Frontier land is Tom Sawyer Island. After riding a flat boat equipt with a tillerman your destination is an island pack full of Caves wobbly rope brigdes and rugged terrain.Even Fort Longhorn which offers close to a dozen air guns and a good aim at the passengers of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. And remember to visit Aunt Polly's Lemonade stand before leaving the island.Another attraction in Frontier Land is the hilarous Country Bear Jamboree where you'll step into a huge pre show area with animatronic deer ,bear and moose heads hanging on the walls. When the doors open to the theater and the curtains raise you'll laugh and sing along the whole way with these animatronic bears to the end of the show. The next attraction at FrontierLand just happens to be a show as well but this time it's with real people! In this Live western comedy show in a re-creation of a western dance hall saloon you'll have fun watching the show girls kick their feet to the can can and other rememberable dancing and singing at "The Diamond Horse Shoe Saloon Revue"!( Try to get the seats right next to the stage either to the left or right.) The First Mountain in Adventure Land is Splash Mountain!Where you careen through backwoods swamps and waterfalls in search of Brer Rabbit's laughin' place. This thrilling log flume attraction culminates with a watery, 50-foot drop. It's a good bet you're gonna get wet! Must be 40 inches tall to ride. And don't be surprised if you get wet when your standing on the bridge that crosses the river.( They don't call it Splash Mountain for nothing ya' know) The Second Mountain in Adventure Land is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. In this fast paced roller coaster that lacks big drops you'll speed through an abandon mining town zipping your way sideways around hairpin turns and mediocar drops.Must be 40 inches to ride. The next section of the Magic Kingdom is Liberty Sqaure. It takes you back to the patrioctic days with white grooved pillars on all the building and even a replica of the liberty bell at town sqaure. The first attraction in Liberty Sqaure is Mike Fint Keelboats! These small keelboats traverse the Rivers of America on a Davy Crockett-style journey down the river. Enjoy the wildlife along the banks, and don't forget to look for the old log cabins! Seasonal; closes at dusk.Next is the Liberty Belle Riverboats!Let this authentic three-tiered sternwheeler take you back in time for a cruise down the Rivers of America. Steam past log cabins, wilderness critters, and attractions in Frontierland and Liberty Square. Seasonal; closes at dusk.Next is the Hall of Presidents.Step into the pre show room and look at the hanging pictures on the walls of all 42 presidents. When the doors open and curtain raises you'll watch a movie on a huge screen that wraps all the way around the theater. It's the history of america which tells you acturate information on your courtry before you see all animatronic presidents including bill clinton on the stage. They look so real you'll think disney brought them back to life but of coarse they did'nt....or did they?
