Breads

I don't have a good dough recipe here to give you because I have a very specific way of making bread with my DLX 6000 which most of you will not have so I can not give the details. BUT, if you find a good way to mix up some dough, try some of these variations for a new twist on an old staple food.

Stuffed Breads

- Fill just before last rising.

Take about a softball size lump of dough and using rolling pin, roll it out into a rectangle. Add your favorite filling almost to the edges. Leave about 1 inch at the sides and 1-1/2 inch at the top.

Cinnamon Raisin - Use a mixture of 1/2 cinnamon and 1/2 sugar . Use lots of raisins, a full layer.
Cream Cheese and Meat - Spread cream cheese then layer with lunchmeat.
Fruit - Use your favorite dried fruit mix.
Chocolate chips and marshmallows - Enough said. Yum!
Pizza - Meat, sauce, cheese. Putting the meat on first makes it easier to roll up.

After filling, roll it up tightly. Pinch the top shut, put the seam side down. Squish the ends shut leaving about a 2 inch tail. Tuck those under and place in bread pan. Use fork to poke a letter if baking more than one kind at once. Let rise in a worm place until ready to bake. Bake at 350 until golden brown.
