Green Tomato Pie

1 T lemon juice
6 c diced green tomatoes (I prefer to use cherry tomatoes, quartered)
3/4 c sugar
2 T flour
3/4 T cinnamon
dash nutmeg
2 T butter

Prepare crust below.
Sprinkle lemon over tomatoes.
Combine sugar, flour, and spices. Mix with tomatoes.
Put filling into crust, dot with butter, and sprinkle extra crumbs on
top.
Bake at 400 for 50 minutes.
Cornflake Crust

2 c crushed cornflakes
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c butter, melted

Mix thoughly and put 2/3 of the mixture into pie pan.
Press firmly. The easiest way to do this is use a smaller pie pan to press it in place.
Chill while you make your pie filling.
Save the rest of the mixture to top your pie.
